About this series

🦋
Do you sometimes feel overwhelmed by so many - social, environmental, political – challenges? And feel like all we can do is scratch at the surface? Falling short of deeper transformation?

As a community of learners aiming to be change-makers and make a positive contribution in the world, do we at Tomorrow University really understand “the system” we are living and operating in? Do we understand how we as leaders may be perpetuating these dynamics in our lives and workplaces?
With this Leading System Change discussion series, we want to start exploring how we can respond collectively to these challenges, by strengthening our systems awareness and regenerative leadership skills. We have the opportunity – if not the responsibility - to challenge ourselves and be the innovators and pioneers of large-scale system change.
We offer two complementary pathways, that should be seen as two sides of a coin. Learners can take part in both or choose the one that seems most appealing:
- The only way is up? Exploring and unravelling our systems awareness. We increase our system awareness and explore the systemic issues that stand in the way of change.
- Leading in the system: learning how we become brave, regenerative leaders. We strengthen our self-awareness as leaders within a system and explore how we evolve our consciousness and agency.
Who is it for?
- Systems thinkers who are keen to understand how climate change, inequalities, democratic black-sliding and other major issues are interconnected (1)
- Learners interested in de-growth and post-growth looking for inspiration (1)
- Learners keen to become more radically responsible leaders or who are frustrated by the kind of leadership they experience, and believe they must be a better way (2)
- Learners keen explore inner transformation to creating positive change in the world (2)
- Those who are yearning for deep and ongoing connection and conversation, and who would value being part of a network of curious, courageous, compassionate change-makers (both)
- Curious learners who are eager to challenge their own assumptions about their mindset and worldview (both)
