Study and Examination Regulations for the Bachelor of Arts in Responsible Entrepreneurship & Management

Tomorrow University of Applied Sciences issues the following examination regulations for the Bachelor's degree program "Bachelor of Arts in Responsible Entrepreneurship & Management" on the basis of §22 of the Hessian Higher Education Act (HHG), which came into force on December 14, 2021 (GVBl. 2021, 931), last amended by Article 9 of the Act of April 1, 2022 (GVBl. p. 184, 204).

1. General
§1 Scope of application
- These examination regulations apply to the Bachelor of Arts in Responsible Entrepreneurship & Management at Tomorrow University of Applied Sciences. They regulate the examinations in this degree program. Supplementary information that goes beyond these regulations can be found in the course, module and challenge descriptions available for the respective degree program.
- Any provisions deviating from these examination regulations must first be approved by the Senate.
§2 Aim and purpose of the degree program
- The degree program leading to the award of the Bachelor's degree is intended to impart the application-related content of the subject on the basis of scientific knowledge, taking into account the general study objectives (§15 HHG). Taking into account the challenges of the 21st century, in particular the requirements and changes in the professional world, the degree programs impart the necessary technical, practical and theoretical knowledge and skills. The methods and skills in the degree program enable students to apply their knowledge professionally and to act in a socially committed manner.
- The focus of the Bachelor's degree course is on the ability to analyze real problems in business practice, to find economically justified solutions and to consider social and ecological consequences. The degree program offers students an application-oriented course of study based on active learning and the acquisition of skills, including scientific foundations, which qualifies graduates for the rapidly changing professional market of the 21st century at a level appropriate to a university. - Successful completion of the degree program with the award of the degree "Bachelor of Arts" constitutes a first academic degree qualifying for a profession. The Bachelor's thesis is intended to determine whether students have acquired the in-depth specialist knowledge and skills required for a career and are accordingly able to work independently on the basis of scientific knowledge and methods.
